Free Egypt

I took inspiration from the Gil Scott song posted below, still a rough idea, but I think there is something to be said about the age of technology and the revolutions going on in Egypt and Tunisia. People are fighting for their right to have media, to televise it, to show the world. They not only want their rights and freedom of speech but they need the world to hear. The internet has become the new public sphere, a platform for free speech and ideas, our medium of communication and connection to the world. We must keep these wires open, the internet is a human right to information. We must televise, tweet, facebook, digg, youtube, blog and wikipedia our lives, our history. I would like to create a series of images that portray the need, the right, of humanity to connect through these social medias.
